Would you like to Deep-en your knowledge of how People & Development shapes a company? We are looking for a People & Development officer to assist our team. You will focus on processing all kinds of mutations, such as absence and contracts, but also keeping the personnel manual up-to-date. Furthermore, you will become our magnet for talent. From mastering our ATS (applicant tracking system) to building strong connections with our talent pools, screening incoming applicants, and actively seeking out the best talent in the field. You manage the entire recruitment process! This requires you to have a deep understanding of the organization, who we are and who we are looking for. You know how to translate this into appealing job postings and can answer substantive questions about Deep and the position. Once hired, you help with the onboarding, facilitating a flying start to someone’s career at Deep.

WHAT YOU HAVE:

• You are following a relevant study on at least HBO level, such as Human Resource Management, Communication Sciences, Hospitality or Law;

• You are interested in the HR profession and would like to learn more about it;

• You can speak, write and read Dutch and English well;

• You can commit yourself for at least one year, for 16 hours per week;

• You already understand how a company works and what it needs. You can translate this into a practical approach.

WHO YOU ARE:

• You are a team player who likes to lead the way. You have an eye for the needs of others and like to help them;

• You can have a chat with everybody, does not matter where people are from, you have the ability to connect;

• You are not easily impressed by others. Not even when you're sitting next to our CEO (and don't worry, she doesn't bite!);

• You like to shape order in the chaos and work in a structured way with an eye for detail;

• You are available from January 2025.

Deep is a hydrographic and geophyisical survey company, founded in 1999. Now I hear you thinking, “what is that?”. We basically perform marine or canal bottom surveys for our clients.
